Planned Giving Opportunities
Are you searching for a way to leave a legacy? You can continue to make a difference in the lives of people with disabilities when you choose a special planned giving opportunity, such as one or a combination of those listed below.
Bequests: You can name EHCA as the beneficiary of your estate for either a specific amount or a percentage of the estate or residual value.
Charitable Gift Annuities: This is a type of gift wherein you make a donation of cash, bonds, or mutual funds and in turn receive income payments for life.
Retirement Plans: You can name EHCA as the beneficiary of your Individual Retirement Plan or other qualified pension plan.
Non-Cash Gifts: Gifts of highly-appreciated stocks, bonds, mutual funds, or real estate may provide income andn capital gains tax savings, thus causing more funds to be available to help provide our services.
Life Insurance: By naming EHCA as the beneficiary of an existing or new policy, you can give substantially more than you may believe possible.
Charitable Trusts: An irrevocable trust can be established to provide payments to one or more individuals until the trust terminates, at which time the remaining balance of the trust is distributed to EHCA.
We know that planned giving can be difficult and uneasy, but we are here to help! Including EHCA in your estate plan is a great way to help us provide lasting support to those we serve. Your commitment now can lead to a brighter future for our residents and program participants.
