Ways to Give

Legacy Fund

The Henrietta Hitchcock Legacy Fund

In September 1912, Henrietta Hitchcock gathered thirteen women in her home for an emergency meeting to find placement for a baby abandoned at Erie's Union Station.  Their desire to help this one child led to the founding of what would become Erie Home for Children and Adults.

The Henrietta Hitchcock Legacy Fund helps ensure that the programs EHCA provides today will continue to support our community for years to come.  EHCA Foundation is honored to have such committed and devoted supporters choose to enhance our future through planned giving and estate planning.

Such gifts also offer many potential advantages, including federal estate tax savings, the elimination or reduction of capital gain taxes, and the opportunity to increase spendable income. (Please consult your tax advisor for details.)

If you've included us in your long-term plans, please fill out the form below to let us know.  We'd love to acknowledge your kindness now, and also to discuss these plans with you to ensure your wishes are implemented exactly as you envision.

If you would like more information on planned giving, we encourage you to fill this out.  We'd be happy to have a conversation about what matters most to you and how we can work together to make sure your legacy is protected into the future.
