Meet Kevin and Brenda
Kevin and his mom Brenda are part of our Life Sharing program. They joined the program in 2022, which allowed Brenda the opportunity to retire a little early so she could care for Kevin. It also allowed Kevin to stay home with Mom and Dad, a brother, and the family pup - a black lab.
Kevin attends a work program once per week and participates in our Options program two or three times per week. The Options program helps Kevin to work on goals and socialize with others.
Kevin enjoys swimming and riding the stationary bike at the gym, fishing, participating in the Crawford County Special Olympics, participating in the adaptive kayaking and tubing at Conneaut Lake, going to the movies, meeting up with “his girl” Sheley (who lives in one of our TItusville homes) for dates, going to country music concerts, attending fairs, assembling car models and other crafts, being outdoors, cookouts with his family, and pizza days with his grandma.
He’s got a great sense of humor and enjoys teasing people, and - most of the time - being teased back.
